Week 9 Bye
Week 10 Sun. Nov. 11 Cowboys 8:20

- Perfect balance! Home and away alternate until Week 12

- Two Thursday nights a first for Birds.

- Great road trips for fans, going to Nashville, Los Angeles, New Orleans as well as London, England.

- Speaking of London, that's an away game for Philly- another break. Even though Jacksonville doesn't sell-out, they would for the defending Super Bowl champs. In London, it's a neutral game. Actually, the way Eagles' fans travel, it may be considered a home crowd. I'm sure a lot of Londoners will also jump on the bandwagon after watching the Eagles win last February.

- Good amount of 1:00 games. Only games which may be flexed late in year are Weeks 11, 12, 16 and 17.

- The two Cowboy games should be meaningful this season. 5 of 6 NFC East division games are after Week 9 bye ( which comes at perfect time, after the London trip).

- Toughest stretch looks like two road games on Dec. 9 and 16 vs. Dallas and Rams. Don't overlook the Giants game in New York on Thursday night, Oct. 11. The Eagles will only have 4 days to prepare, coming off a late Sunday key game vs. Minnesota the Sunday before. It's a division game, plus the giants' first crack at the defending Super Bowl champs.

- The schedule could've been tougher, being a first place team, but in Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis and  Tennessee, the Birds have a chance to get off to a good start, especially if Wentz is still out. Key games against Vikings, Rams, Cowboys, Saints, Panthers and Jags come later when Wentz should be back.

- Last year the team went 13-3, won the NFC East and earned home field advantage. Is till see them winning the division. Even 11 or 12 wins should get it done. 13 will be tough again, as teams will be gunning for the Eagles. If Philly wins the East, it will be the first time since 2004 that same team has won the division two years in a row.

- I went a perfect 19-0 picking Eagle games last season, playoffs included.  Can I do it again?

- Even though the Falcons have revenge on their minds, and we remember what Kansas City did in New England opening night last season, the Eagles should ride the emotional wave of raising their championship banner and beat Atlanta. Nick Foles shines again.Win

-  Still hot in Tampa, but Bucs aren't ready to handle Birds. I do look for a tough game in Florida, however.Win

- Colts shouldn't be a problem for Philly at the Linc in Week 3. The return of Frank Reich. He does know the Eagles' personnel.Win

- Eagles could have trouble in Tennessee as they square off with Marcus Marcus Mariotta. Loss.

 - Vikings will be thirsty for revenge as well. Got a feeling this one won't be a blow-out. Eagles win, knowing this could be a key tie-breaker down the road. Win

- Trap game. Division contest, short week, coming off big one vs. Minnesota. Somehow New York upsets Birds. Loss

- Eagles pissed after Giants loss. Makes Cam Newton and Carolina pay. Win

- Eagles travel well to London. Beware of jet-lack and inexperience playing in Europe. Jags are vets at playing in London. Still, i like Eagles to impress Brits. Win

- Birds will be 6-2 going into bye .Good shape for tougher second part of schedule.

- I like Eagles to beat Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, needing to even division record at 1-1.  Should be well rested after coming home from England.Win

- Tough one in Superdome vs Saints. Sneaky feeling that Drew Brees will shine. Loss

- Consecutive home wins vs Giants and Redskins, as Birds gain revenge against Giants after Thanksgiving. Win

- Extra time to rest and prepare for first match-up with  Kirk Cousins-less Redskins. Monday Night affair. Win

- Consecutive road losses coming up. Don't panic. Dallas finally beats Eagles at home. Loss

- Rematch with Rams in LA. Rams win. Hope this doesn't cost Birds home field advantage. Loss

- Eagles right ship by beating Texans at home. Rare appearance by Houston in Philly. Birds go 8-0 a home. Win

- Need this game in Washington for playoff seeding purposes. Win.

Final record 11-5.  Win NFC East. 2nd in NFC to Rams.
