McDonald's "Showdown"
During the 1993 Super Bowl, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird went head-to-head in a game of 'H-O-R-S-E" with the winner getting a Big Mac.
In the ad, each shot the two legends take is more spectacular and improbable than the one before. "Off the floor, off the scoreboard, off the backboard, no rim," Bird calls his shot, and then sinks it.
"Over the second rafter, off the floor, nothing but net," Jordan responds- and it's good.
The ad ends with the two of them sitting on top of a Skyscraper and Jordan sinking one "off the expressway, over the river, off the billboard, through the window, off the wall, nothing' but net."
