EAGLES FACTS AND TRIVIA

Today's Eagle Fact: Brian Dawkins

Brian Dawkins is one of the most beloved Eagles in team history. Not only did he play safety with distinction in Philadelphia for 14 seasons, delivering crunching hits ad making big plays, but he was also a team leader who instinctively captured the spirit of the city.

Fast enough to cover receivers and also fierce against the run, he was the complete package- a four-time first-team All-Pro and a nine-time Pro Bowler. He was selected for the NFL's All-Decade team for the 2000s and deserves to be elected to the Hall of Fame.

Note: This year's honorees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame will be announced on Saturday night. hopefully B-Dawk is in!
