Lots of time to do a post-mortem on this dead team. I hope they lose out- two more in Atlanta, 4 in Colorado, 3 more against Atlanta.
John Middleton needs to make changes on October 1st, No one cares. no one is going to the games. Boring, analytic baseball. Too many strike-outs and walks. Poor fundamentals. the list goes on and on.

Why should i buy tickets for next season?
Is this team going in the right direction under the supervision of Kapler and Klentak?
Will MacPhail and Middleton address the fans and media after the season? No excuses. Start spending money wisely. Get baseball guys in charge. Get better coaches and scouts. The farm system needs to get better.

Did we have meaningful baseball late in the year? yes. Was it fun scoreboard watching most of the summer/ yes. Is it disappointing now that we had a taste of first place for over a month? Yes.
I have tickets to Fan Appreciation Day next Sunday. Maybe I'll win something because who else will be a the game while the Eagles are playing?
