My thoughts on the upcoming weekend's pro football games. But first, last night..
Browns over Jets-
Cleveland wins it's first game since Christmas Eve, 2018. They are now 1-1-1. What happened to the Jets, who destroyed the Lions on Monday night Football, but have now lost two in a row and have returned to the bad Jets of old?
Colts at Eagles-
Wentz returns and the Eagles at at home. Need I say more? Eagles win 23-10
Saints at Falcons-
Both shaky 1-1 NFC South teams. Atlanta should win, being at home, leaving the Saints wondering how good-or-bad- they really are.
49ers at Chiefs-
At Arrowhead Stadium, with the Chief's home opener and already 2-0, I see them covering the 6 1/2 point spread.
Raiders at Dolphins-
Miami has a chance to go 3-0 and challenge New England early in AFC East. The Raiders fly east and need a win badly.
Bills at Vikings-
Minnesota is a huge 16 1/2 point favorites. Buffalo is awful but are they really that bad?
Packers at Redskins-
Can the Skins lose their first two home games? meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers tries to give the Pack a 2-1-1 record. I like Washington getting 3 points at home.
Bengals at Panthers-
Carolina should beat surprising 2-0 Cincy but I wouldn't be surprised if an upset occurs.
Titans at Jaguars-
Tennessee needs an early win over host Jacksonville to stay with the Jags in AFC South.
Broncos at Ravens-
Baltimore is always tough at home.Denver isn't as good as their record indicates.
Giants at Texans-
Will Houston finally get it together in their home opener? New York continues it's brutal early schedule.
Chargers at Rams-
Cross-town rivals. Chargers are a dangerous team in what should be a high-scoring shoot-out.
Bears at Cardinals-
Who are the Bears to give points on the road? Have we seen the last of Sam Bradford if Arizona loses big again?
Cowboys at Seahawks-
Always a tough place to play, Seattle will be even more hyped after an 0-2 start. I like the Seahawks to cover the 1 1/2 points.
Patriots at Lions-
Will new England lose two games in a row> Are the Lions that bad?
Steelers at Buccaneers-
Pittsburgh could go an unbelievable 0-2-1 to start the season if they lose Monday Night to the surprising Bucs.
