IN MY LIFE- HALLOWEEN MEMORIES-PART 2

Today is Halloween. Lots of parties tonight. Lots of trick-or-treating. Lots of scary movies on TV. A fun time for all.

* My favorite scary movies? Here is the list:

1. The Exorcist-

Still gives me the chills. The eerie music made is scarier.

2. Dracula-

The original with Bela Lugosi From the black and white atmosphere to the creepy music and make-up.

3. Alien-

OK, not a typical Halloween movie, but frightening nonetheless, especially when the alien pops out of the guy's stomach.

My favorite scary TV series was the old ABC soap opera, Dark Shadows. Barnabas Collins was the vampire, and the early episodes every weekday at 3:30 in the afternoon were chilling. I looked forward to coming home from school every weekday and watching Dark Shadows. The cliff-hanger would be on Fridays, which kept you in suspense until the following Monday. A classic.

* There are some Halloween songs you can make a play-list out of, and here are my favorites:

1. Monster Mash-

A big hit when I was a kid, it still holds up today.

2. Devil Woman-

A hit for Cliff Richard.

3. Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress-

By The Hollies.

4. Evil Woman-

Electric Light Orchestra made this one a hit.
