A review and a look ahead at the NFL following Week 16..
- Titans over Redskins-
Tennessee still has a division and playoff shot as they host Indianapolis next week. Washington plays the Eagles at home with nothing to play for.
Ravens over Chargers-
Baltimore takes over the lead on AFC North. They have Cleveland at home next week to seal a playoff spot. The chargers are still tied with Kansas City for 1st in AFC West. They play at Denver next week while the chiefs host the lowly Raiders. Advantage KC.
Cowboys over Buccaneers-
Dallas wins the NFC East, continuing the streak of no division team winning the East two consecutive years since 2004. Looks like the Cowboys will host the Seahawks in the playoffs.
Vikings over Lions-
Minnesota needs to defeat Chicago at home to make the playoffs and shut-out the Eagles.
Colts over Giants-
Indy came back to beat the Giants, staying in the AFC playoff hunt.
Patriots over Bills-
New England holds serve but needs help to get a bye and home field advantage in the playoffs.
Rams over Cardinals-
As expected the Rams destroyed Arizona. They need to beat San Francisco at home to hang onto a 1st round bye.
Bears over 49ers-
Chicago came back and beat feisty San Francisco. They have the 3rd seed in the NFC playoffs but can move up to No. 2 and a bye if they bear Minnesota and the Rams lose.
Saints over Steelers-
The road to the Super Bowl this year will go through New Orleans while Pittsburgh followed up their victory over New England with a loss to the Saints. The Steelers need to beat the Bengals on Sunday and have the Ravens lose to the Browns.
Seahawks over Chiefs-
Seattle is in the playoffs as a wild card, most likely going to Dallas. KC plays Oakland to wrap up AFC West and home field advantage.
I went 1-1 against the spread this week, going to 20-15 on the year.
