NFL PREVIEW-WEEK 13

Looking ahead at the weekend to come in the NFL..

Jaguars at Titans-

The game tonight, a real piece of garbage. Jacksonville has to be the most disappointing team in pro football, while inconsistent Tennessee has a faint shot at a wild card.

Lions at Cardinals-

Two bad, inconsistent clubs in the desert.

Jets at Bills-

Ditto. Match-up of two losers from AFC East.

Panthers at Browns-

Carolina has gone in the toilet lately. They need this game, as 2 or their last 3 games are against the powerful Saints. Cleveland is improved but will be at home again during playoff season.

Falcons at Packers-

Atlanta is another disappointing team. QB Matt Ryan isn't used to being out of the playoffs, but out he is. Green Bay plays it's first week with it's new QB. Will the Pack lose two in a row at frigid Lambeau Field? Falcons are a dome team. Advantage Green Bay.

Steelers at Raiders-

Pittsburgh should pound lowly Oakland. The Steelers are mad after their unexpected loss last week. Pittsburgh wins by double digits.

Ravens at Chiefs-

Baltimore can make a real statement. KC must muddle thru without RB Kareen Hunt. They still have hopes to get home field advantage.

Patriots at Dolphins-

This looked to be a big game earlier, when Miami got off to a fast 3-0 start. Meaningless again, except for New England's annual push to get home field advantage.

Saints at Buccaneers-

Look for the Saints to rebound with 10 days rest.Tampa Bay has only pride to play for.

Giants at Redskins-

New York is actually favored because of the Washington quarterback situation. The Skins need to keep pace with the Eagles and cowboys. I'm taking Washington plus 3 and 1/2.

Colts at Texans-

Houston tries to win 10 in a row while the Colts are trying to still alive for a wild card spot.I hope Indy wins so they have something to play for next week at home vs Dallas.

Broncos at 49ers-

Denver has a faint chance for a wild card while San Francisco plays for a high draft pick next spring.

Rams at Bears-

Interesting Sunday night game. Warm weather team playing at chilly Soldier Field. Rams want home field. They have already clinched their division. Chicago lost last week- but so did the other teams in NFC North. I'll take the Bears at home plus 3.

Vikings at Seahawks-

This game may be for a wild card berth. Minnesota may be able to catch Chicago. Seattle can't catch Los Angeles but are a hot team.

My NFL picks this week. I
I'm 16-11 for the season against the spread.

Bears plus 3
Redskins plus 3 1/2
