"Football was Mr. Kennedy's game"

On November 24, 1963, two days after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, and with the nation still in mourning, NBA, NHL, and AFL games all were canceled. But the NFL's Pete Rozelle and the league played a complete schedule. Rozelle would late call it his worst decision as NFL commissioner.
