Previewing the upcoming NFL weekend..
Packers at Seahawks-
Tonight's match-up on Thursday Night football.. Both are hanging by a slim thread for playoff contention. Seattle is tough at home and should win. Nice QB battle between Rodgers and Wilson.
Eagles at Saints-
See my preview elsewhere in blog. An upset even the Birds at 5-5 for the year and gives them hope. A loss drops them to 4-6. New Orleans can go 9-1 as the Saints vie for a bye and home field advantage in the playoffs.
Cowboys at Falcons-
Dallas stays on the road, hoping to avoid a letdown after their upset in Philadelphia. The Falcons are the most puzzling team in the league. They badly need a home victory to stay in contention in NFC South.
Panthers at Lions-
Carolina has a 10 day rest after a Thursday night loss in Pittsburgh. Detroit plays at home before playing on Thanksgiving Day.
Titans at Colts-
Tennessee is thinking playoffs after their big win over New England last week. Indy has played better and QB Andrew Luck is second in the league in TD passes.
Buccaneers at Giants-
New York is coming off a win in San Francisco while Tampa is in flux, especially over their QB situation.
Texans at Redskins-
Houston has won six in a row, while the Skins are on top of NFC East by two games. I like the Redskins plus 3 points at home.
Steelers at Jaguars-
Jacksonville has been a huge disappointment this season, while Pittsburgh looks to further take control of their grip on AFC North.
Bengals at Ravens-
One of these teams will barely be alive in their division. Both are disappointing after fast starts. Baltimore should win at home.
Raiders at Cardinals-
Meaningless game out west. Oakland, with another loss, can solidify their hold on the overall No. 1 pick in the spring draft.
Broncos at Chargers-
Up-and-coming Chargers take on division rival Denver in LA. The Chargers should continue their march to the playoffs.
Vikings at Bears-
We knew Minnesota should be competing in NFC North, but who knew Da Bears would look so good as well? Sunday Night Football at chilly Soldier Field should be fun.
Chiefs at Rams-
The game was moved back to LA after the field in Mexico City was deemed unacceptable for football. Classic Monday night duel of Goff vs Mahomes. I like the visiting chiefs covering 3 1/2 points.
My NFL Picks this week ( Last week, 0-2; Season 13-8)
- Redskins plus 3
- Chiefs plus 3 1/2 points
