PHILLY SPORTS CORNER- PHILLIES, SIXERS, FLYERS,EAGLES

- Phillies GM Matt Klentak was on WIP Sports Radio yesterday morning. It was the same old BS from clueless Klentak, as he appeared just before free agency begins.

Unless he is sandbagging, Klentak hinted that Rhys Hoskins will stay in left field and Carlos Santana, whom Klentak "loves" and called "great", will play first base again. Yet, Klentak states the defense must get better.

Sounds like the organization is souring on Manny Machado, thanks to his recent commends about not hustling all the time.  If that is true the front office better sign Bryce Harper. Anything less would be a big disappointment.

-The Sixers are undefeated at home, beating the clippers by nine points on Thursday night. Joel Embiid had 41 point and 13 rebounds, totally dominating the contest. They play at home again Saturday afternoon vs Detroit.

- The Flyers won a second straight game on their four-game road trip, beating the Kings 5-2. Five different Flyers scored goals, and goalie Brian Elliot had a solid game.

- The Eagles are off this week, resting from their London trip and preparing for Dallas next Sunday night. Can't wait to see Golden Tate in midnight green. Hopefully Darren Sproles returns. If the Cowboys beat the Titans on Monday night, they invade the Linc at 4-4 , which sets up a big NFC East show-down.
