2004 Season: Super Bowl XV
Twenty years after the 1960 championship, the Eagles returned to the title game, although it was now a much bigger "ultimate game" experience. Once again, the Eagles were a team of overachievers led by a fiery quarterback obtained from the Rams and a vocal, hard-hitting veteran linebacker.
As good as he was, though, Jaworski was not Van Brocklin, and the battered Bill Bergey was not Bednarik. The Birds lost 27-10.
