AFC Four-peat
25 years ago today, the Buffalo Bills win the AFC Championship for a fourth consecutive year beating the Chiefs and ending the career of Kansas City QB Joe Montana.
Montana left the game when he was sacked and bounced to the frozen turf at Rich Stadium, suffering a concussion on the third play of the second half.
The Chiefs won the AFC Western Division and finished the regular season with an 11-5 record.
Final score was Buffalo 30, Kansas City 13.
