A.

In 1998, at the age of 32, the Houston second baseman rapped out 51 doubles, stole 50 bases, and enjoyed his 11th and best season, with a .325 batting average and a .503 slugging average.

He finished his career in 2007 with 668 doubles ( good for 5th place all time) and 414 steals and was elected to the hall of Fame in 2015.

The only other player to accomplish the feat was another Hall of Famer, Tris Speaker, who hit 53 doubles and stole 52 bases in 1912, his MVP-winning year.
