- The Phillies were off last night as they prepare for a weekend series against Toronto. With Atlanta in Boston for three games, and the Phils only a 1/2 game behind the Braves, it's a great chance for Philly to leap-frog over Atlanta for first place in NL East. Zach Eflin, who has been pitching well recently, goes tonight, with Pivetta and Nola following.
- Interesting to note that both Golden State and Cleveland are on the brink of elimination. Let's see what they are made of now. Could be a changing of the guard in the NBA? Sixers next season?
- Terrible job by the awful duo of Farzetta-Fadool interviewing the jackass Cris Collinsworth recently. NBC announcer on NBC network. led to softball questions. I wanted more of a grilling. Can't watch the Super Bowl again without turning down the sound. But what do you expect from the weak Farzetta-Fadool? No wonder Philly Sports Talk show has gone downhill fast.
- I'm rooting for the expansion Vegas Golden Knights to beat Washington in the Stanley Cup finals, starting with Game 1 on Saturday. What a story so far! If the Knights actually win the Cup in their first year of existence, it will be a true Cinderella story.
- Even though I'm not a big racing fan, it's still a thrill and tradition every Memorial Day weekend to watch the Indy 500. "Gentleman start your engines" brings back memories of summer weekends of the past.
