book- parking

(Place on page 335, after para 5..Better safe..)

It's sad that I continue to see people take advantage of handicapped parking places. Too often Holly and I are at the supermarket or mall and can't find a parking spot designated for handicapped folks. The special spaces, close to the building, are taken instead by able-bodied drivers. This makes it bad for everyone, as people with real disabilities, who need the spots, are shut-out and must deal with a longer journey to their destination. Awareness is the answer, and hopefully those who don't care about the law or the inconvenience to others, must change or  deal with the consequences if caught.
